A DOMINICAN OOTD

Some of you may have seen on my social media that I’ve been away for two weeks in the Dominican Republic and I returned home yesterday – hence the titling of this post. I must admit I was planning on doing a blogpost of all the outfits I wore for two weeks as I tend to put more effort into dressing on holiday evenings however, I was clearly too carried away enjoying some peace that I quite literally forgot. I did manage one night though!

This outfit was worn a couple of evenings into the holiday when we weren’t going to a restaurant or doing anything worth getting dressy for, therefore I opted for denim to achieve a more casual vibe. This romper is from Zara although, I dont believe they stock it anymore. I managed to find some similar for you which I’ve linked below:

1) ASOS
2) BOOHOO
3) VERY (long sleeved alternative)

I paired this romper with some plain white heels and a white cross body bag as I felt as though anything that wasn’t plain would be a little too much, especially as I was going for something quite simple. I then added a medium thickness belt just to tie in with the black lettering on the back of the romper.

I generally have quite a plain casual style anyway and so I feel like this OOTD reflects what I would generally choose to wear. I did wear some bold, bright patterns too which were a bit further out of my comfort zone and may appear somewhere on my blog later in the summer.

I hope you enjoyed this quick post, expect a full holiday post in the near future!
