GlossyBox February 2015

I honestly cannot believe that its already February, time is going so quickly BUT a new month means a new glossybox! If you don’t know what glossybox is, its basically a box that gets delivered to your home once a month and it contains high end beauty and skincare products. I find that its a great way of trying products from brands that you wouldn’t normally try. This month the February box came and it was valentines day themed:

As you can see, the box this month isn’t the classic baby pink glossy box, its a special edition valentines box that says ‘LOVE’ on it – quite pretty and in keeping with this time of year. I have to say, glossybox never fail to make their boxes extremely pretty. Within the box this month there were 5 products and also a small pack of Love Hearts sweets (which aren’t pictured – bet you can guess why).

The first product in my box was the SO SUSAN Rose Quartet (lip&cheek cream). This product I was extremely impressed by, the colours are absolutely beautiful – a deep fuscia pink, a bright cherry red (my favourite lipstick shade), a baby pink and a pretty peach. These creams are super pigmented and look great both on the lips and on the cheeks and I know I will use this quartet lots in the future.

The next product was the Royal Apothic Tinties Lip Butter in the shade ‘coral’. I know the saying is ‘dont judge a book by its cover’ but the packaging of this product is truly beautiful. With the gorgeous pink box and the lovely rose gold lid, I was literally in heaven when I saw this product. This is a sheer lip balm and on first impressions it seems very hydrating – another point to glossybox!

I am a HUGE essie fan and their polishes never fail to impress me, so receiving a full size one in my February box was brilliant for me. This one is ‘239 CROCADILLY’ and is an interesting metallic grey colour – very different from anything else I own so yet another pleasing product in the box.

Next was a little pot of mineral eyeshadow from ‘marsk’ in the colour ‘Fifty Shades’, by which you can probably tell the eyeshadow is grey. The eyeshadow is a really pretty shimmery grey and is very pigmented so an impressive product. I can see this product being great for smoky eyes and it also matches the essie polish pictured previously.

Last but not least, was the Wilkinson Sword ‘HydroSilk’ razor. I have had these razors previously and they’re absolutely great and very moisturising so getting one of these was a lovely surprise.

I hope you liked this post and if it tempted you to check out glossybox for yourself, you can do so here:
