LAS VEGAS TRAVEL DIARY | The Long Lost Photos

LAS VEGAS TRAVEL DIARY | The Long Lost Photos

If you follow me on social media you’ll likely know I spent the Christmas just gone (I say just gone – It’s February) in Las Vegas, ending up in Hawaii for New Year’s Eve. Why am I only just blogging about it now, you ask? In short, I didn’t really think my photographs were too internet worthy, some of them are awful but hold a funny backstory to say the least. Instead of letting these travesty’s go to waste I thought I would do a little two part series – one post for Las Vegas and one post for Hawaii – sharing the photo’s that didn’t (or almost didn’t) make Facebook or the ‘Gram. This part is obviously Las Vegas.

In Las Vegas I stayed in the absolutely stunning Venetian. The Venetian is an Italian themed hotel, one of many themed hotels on the Las Vegas strip. It features the most gorgeous decor as well as gondola rides and enough restaurants to send you into a food coma (or even a shopping coma since there are so many shops). Without rambling too much, here’s a photo diary of the pics that didn’t quite make the cut.

Not the kind of fancy place you want to stroll into after a  12 hour flight and 0.2 hours of sleep

Sometimes it’s gotta be done – turn the spare sink into a mini bar. Who said a cheap night was boring?

Sometimes you gotta go to other hotels and ogle at their Christmas trees. # When yours doesn’t have any and the Christmas spirit is leaving your body quicker than your will to live on a long haul flight.
